After a grueling, torrid weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the MENCS ventures away from Charlotte, NC after two consecutive weekends competing in the Queen City - the home of many teams.
Corey LaJoie is going into the Pocono 400 at the Tricky Triangle looking to extend a string of strong finishes - including an impressive 12th-place effort in the Coca-Cola 600. The result was LaJoie's second-best result of the season, he finished 11th at Talladega just weeks ago.
The 27-year-old knows a thing or two about the 2.5-mile track situated in Long Pond, PA. In 2013, LaJoie scored his first win in just his first appearance at the triangle-shaped superspeedway, competing in the ARCA Menards Series. He started the event 18th. Since his debut in the MENCS, LaJoie has made an additional three starts at the track.
The Go Fas Racing team and LaJoie are determined to be in contention for another strong result this weekend at Pocono, with backing from Visone RV. Based in Kentucky, Visone RV sells new and used RVs, travel trailers, campers, parts and accessories. They also specialize in rebuildable insurance salvage, repairable wrecks, heavy equipment and repairable motorhomes.
"I couldn't be more excited to rejoin my guys at Go Fas Racing for the Pocono 400 this weekend as the primary sponsor," remarked Terry Blankenship, owner of Visone RV. "It's incredible to see how far the team has come since I first partnered with the organization back in 2016. Corey (LaJoie) had a strong run this past weekend in the Coca-Cola 600 and I'm confident he can do it again this weekend at the Tricky Triangle with the Visone RV Ford Mustang."
LaJoie on the upcoming weekend at Pocono Raceway:
"Pocono is a very unique track and I've ran there a bunch of times and had some success, especially in ARCA. This new package should definitely change the racing there quite a bit with the long straights, and we've shown we can really capitalize on our speed recently. When we run our race and block and tackle, we can contend for those top-25's, top-20's, and even those top-15's when we get a little luck and strategy falling in our favor. Hopefully we can do that again this weekend with Visone RV and Wildcat Adventure Park on board and bring home another great finish."

Corey LaJoie and the Superior Logistics team impressed at the Coca-Cola 600. The weekend got off to a rocky start with issues in first practice, but hard work from the No. 32 crew quickly reversed that scenario from progressing. LaJoie qualified 30th for the longest race of the season and climbed four positions within the first stage, finishing 26th. During stage two, the 27-year-old was thrown a speeding penalty and made slight contact with the No. 43 and 34 but the Superior Logistics Ford did not suffer any damage, allowing him to continue to climb the leaderboard, as far as 17th. LaJoie ultimately finished stage two 22nd. After a 30-second moment of silence at the conclusion of stage two, LaJoie received a routine service and adjustments to help loosen the No. 32. The changes proved to be positive as the Charlotte, NC native was working his way towards the top-20, ending the third segment 22nd. For the final 100 laps of the crown jewel event, the No. 32 had already advanced into the top-20 within the first 20 laps of the stage, running 17th. With five laps to go, LaJoie cracked the top-15, before eventually finishing the night 12th. The impressive finish at the 1.5-mile track marked the second top-15 for Go Fas Racing in the 2019 season. Additionally, it is now LaJoie's best finish at the track, replacing his previous best finish of 26th.
