Race 28 of 36:

This weekend, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series returns to Richmond Raceway for the raceway's first ever NASCAR Playoff race. Richmond, who typically hosts the last race before the NASCAR Playoffs, will now host the second of three races in the first round of the Playoffs. This will mark the 28th race of the NASCAR season, with eight races remaining after this weekend., a longtime friend and sponsor of the Go Fas Racing team, will be the primary sponsor of the No.32 team and Matt DiBenedetto this weekend. They will be bringing back their orange and white scheme they've raced several times this season. The family-owned company based out of Cleves, Ohio, is a one-stop-shop for anything Corvettes new and old and have been a sponsor of the team since 2015.

Rolling at Richmond:

Earlier this season at Richmond Raceway, Crew Chief Randy Cox and Matt DiBenedetto surprised teams all over the NASCAR Cup garage with the speed of the No.32 Ford. DiBenedetto qualified 27th at the 0.75-mile oval and found that as the runs went on, he could move forward quickly.

In what was one of the most impressive runs for the No.32 team in recent years, DiBenedetto and the No.32 Go Fas Racing Ford moved through the field passing cars and teams with multiple times their budget. With little attrition and just a few cars having problems, the No.32 team truly earned their finishing position of 16th, beating cars from nearly every major team. The finish earned the attention of the entire NASCAR garage and much of the NASCAR media circle. This weekend, Crew Chief Randy Cox and DiBenedetto will run a setup very similar to the spring race, hoping to find even more speed for Saturday night's race.

DiBenedetto on racing at Richmond Raceway:

"Richmond is definitely an underrated track on our schedule. The racing there is really great and it reminds me a lot of the dirt racing I did growing up. The tire wears out really quickly and everybody ends up searching around for grip. The restarts can get pretty wild because of that, and you'll find guys all over the track. I'm really excited about going back to Richmond because of our speed earlier in the year. Randy has done a great job finding speed at tracks like this all year and I think we'll have another great run this weekend. I can't thank Tom and T.J. Keen enough for all of their support to our small team. They're a big partner for us and they're great people. Hopefully everyone hops on and gets something to help support a small business that supports our team!" DiBenedetto said.
